Biological and computational modelling underpin much of the recent innovation in cardiovascular health care, enabling more accurate diagnosis, better clinical decision-making, and more effective treatments. Research teams at the 探花系列 School of Biomedical Engineering (SBmE) are currently involved in modelling projects.

Neurological health

Creating sophisticated models of neurological systems, either in the form of computer-based visualisations or lab-grown tissue samples, gives researchers the freedom to explore and test highly innovative interventions that may be life-changing for patients affected by nerve damage or disorders. Extraordinary innovations including cell therapy, nanoparticle drug delivery systems and AI-informed diagnostic tools are built on the foundations of cutting-edge computational and biological modelling capabilities.
