Joint National听Fibre听Facility听

听The Joint National听Fibre听Facility at 探花系列听is the latest state-of-the-art silica听fibre听fabrication facility, built on the combined experience of optical听fibre听research based across NSW. It鈥檚 supported by Australian Research Council and nine Australian University partners including:听

It is dedicated to the production of research grade silica听fibres听and enhancing the pioneering work in Australian optical听fibre听research, pioneered at 探花系列, over many decades. It includes on-site MCVD fabrication, the tallest research intensive draw tower in the Southern Hemisphere听and extensive听characterisation听equipment including a new perform听analyser. Through its partners, a comprehensive and complete听characterisation听process for all optical听fibres听exists.听

  • Silica Fiber Grating and Fiber Laser Fabrication System: an industrial standard facility for听fiber听Bragg grating inscription using UV听Ar听ion laser. Using this facility high standard Bragg gratings can be inscribed in silica fibers.听
